Photo sharing

What is Photo sharing?

Photo sharing is the publishing or transfer of a user's digital photos online, thus enabling the user to share them with others (whether publicly or privately). This function is provided through both websites and applications that facilitate the upload and display of images. The term can also be loosely applied to the use of online photo galleries that are set up and managed by individual users, including photoblogs.

Limitation and Benefits of Photo sharing:
  • Twitter allows users to upload one image per Tweet. and accepts photos that 3MB or smaller (only with .gif, and, .jpeg type).
  • The benefits are You can upload, store, organize photos, tag, share, and discuss photos with your online community. You can share your best moments with photos, albums, slideshow etc in twitter anytime.
How to Add photo in twitter?

Step 1

  • Optimize your photo for the Web. Save your photo as a JPEG, which is the most common file format for uploading photos online. Resize your photo to 1,000 pixels or smaller if you want to avoid long upload times.

Step 2

  • Create an account with a free Twitter photo-sharing service. As of 2011, TwitPic, Ow.ly, SmugMug and YFrog are just a few of the websites that offer free photo posting to Twitter. Some of these services, such as TwitPic, allow you to sign in directly through your Twitter profile. Many free Twitter photo-sharing services also have plugins to upload from your web browser and desktop clients to upload straight from your computer.

Step 3

  • Log in to your Twitter photo-sharing service and click the "Browse" button to choose a photo from your computer. Click upload, then copy the shortened link. To post your tweet from the photo-sharing service website, enter your text into the provided form. To post a photo from your Twitter profile, continue to the next step.

Step 4

  • Log in to Twitter through the web page, a mobile application or a desktop client. Write your tweet and paste the photo link from the Twitter photo service you used. Press "Enter." You just shared a photo on Twitter.

Networking

What is Networking?

It is a service that allows people to communicate with "their followers" by posting short messages. It is a social networking service which is an online service, platform, or site that you can share.

Benefits of Networking:
  •  Networking provides social contact and stimulation.
  •  Networking is a two way process that can enable you to help others.
  • It give you opportunities to connect with others who travelling a similar path.
Limitation of Networking:
  • If Sever develops a fault then users may not be able to run the application programs.
  • A fault in the network can cause user to lose the data.
  • If the network stops operating then it may not be possible to access to various computers.
  • It is difficult to make the system secure from hackers, novices or industrial espionage.
  • Decisions on resource planning tend to become centralized.
  • Networks that have grown with little thought can be inefficient in the long term.
  • As traffic increases on a network the performance degrades unless it is designed properly.
  • The larger the network becomes difficult to manage.
